Mary Mowad Guiteau is a registered interior designer and Director of Interior Design at Holly & Smith Architects. She has been practicing interior design for 23 years. Mary is a member of the International Interior Design Association and International Facility Management Association. She was featured as a speaker at IFMA’s World Workplace national convention in 2018 and recently had an article published in IFMA’s Facility Management Journal magazine.
Mary was honored to be invited by First Lady Donna Edwards to participate in the renovation of the Louisiana Governor’s Mansion, eventually taking on the role of overall logistics coordinator for the project. Through the generosity of Holly & Smith, Mary donated her design services to facilitate this important historic project through completion. She has also donated her time to her children’s school – Holy Ghost Catholic School – by speaking to different classes about her role as an interior designer and how her job relates back to the math and creative thinking skills her elementary aged children are learning in school.
