Do you have any special Achievements you would like to highlight? In my role as Director of Interior Design at Campo, the department has more than quadrupled in size, and continues to deliver excellent design for our increasingly larger and more complex projects. I have helped developed a synergy between our work with Architecture, Interior Design, and Historic Tax Credits for our historic and adaptive-reuse hospitality projects.
How have you contributed to the Interior Design Profession? As both a licensed Architect and a licensed Interior Designer, I represent a cross-disciplinary hybrid. I have served on the board of the American Institute of Architects New Orleans Chapter, and the New Orleans Architecture Foundation, where I was a strong advocate for both professions.
What is your response when someone asks you “What do Interior Designers do?” Interior Designers are responsible for much more than just paint colors! As licensed professionals, we are responsible for creating safe, functional, inclusive spaces with respect to life safety, ADA, building codes, and fire ratings. AND we have to make it beautiful!
Give us a fun fact about yourself: I served in the Peace Corps in Mali, West Africa
Do you have children and/or pets? I have a 9-month old daughter
